Hot Mic: A Night of Stand-Up and Drag

Hot Mic is a curated comedy night where stand-up and drag share the same stage, the same spotlight with two different artforms that mix together perfectly like a craft cocktail. Expect sharp comedy, bold personalities and big stage energy that bounces from mic stand to lip sync and back again.

Featuring local stand-up comedians, Jenny Rubin (Berkshire Magazine’s Berkshire 25) and Shawn Hollenbach (Hulu, Tubi, VH1) curating a night of their favorite stand-comedians and drag talent including the Berkshire’s own, Bella Santarella and Albany’s Lady SeanZia. This show is equal parts punchlines, performances, and perfectly-timed joy. Come for the laughs. Stay for the drag.

About the performers:

Shawn Hollenbach

Shawn Hollenbach is a comedian, storyteller, songwriter, and host. Shawn can currently be seen in “The Mortified Guide,” an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival on Tubi. You can also hear Shawn’s voice and original songs on PlutoTV’s social media channels.  Shawn also created and hosts “Closet Cases”, a live show that has run for 20 years in many locations and venues including the legendary Stonewall Inn, Provincetown and Wander in The Berkshires. The series also had a companion podcast where LGBTQ+ comedians and storytellers share their coming out and transitioning stories. iHeart Radio called it “A Best LGBTQ Podcast for Millennials.” Shawn was the host of A+E Networks' “BTWN2FLRS”, a celebrity interview show in a working office elevator surprising unsuspecting employees. As a musical comedian, some of Shawn’s songs include “Double Filter Face” featuring Shea Couleé (RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars 5 winner), HGTV House Hunters parody, “I am a House Hunter, Baby” and LogoTV's first viral video and Thanksgiving nightmare, “Twerk Your Turkey.”

Bella Santrella

Berkshire-based drag queen, Bella Santarella brings cleverly glamourous looks, sharp comedy and unapologetic sparkle to every stage she touches. Bella is the creator and host of “The Majesty of the Berkshires Pageant” at The Adams Theater and hosts “Bella’s Bingo Ball” at Wander. She volunteers and is the mistress of ceremonies at Berkshire Pride and is a storyteller at The Berkshires chapter of “Drag Story Hour.” Bella blends classic showmanship with modern pop flair, making audiences feel like they’re in on the fun, not just watching it. Whether she’s hosting games, performing or creating community-forward nights, Bella is proof that glamour is a sport and joy is the point.

Lady SeanZia

Lady SeanZia is an Albany-based dynamic drag performer known for polished style, tapdancing stagecraft and a sense of fun that keeps the crowd locked in. She is the runner up of the “Miss Gay Albany 2025” pageant and hosts “Lady’s Night” at the iconic capital region haunt, Rocks. Lady also released her new single “God is My Baby’s Daddy” and is working on her next tune that will be sure to mesmerize you. With a talent for mixing glamour, humor and heartfelt connection, Lady SeanZia brings a confident, modern drag sensibility to every show.

Event Details:

This is a seated event.  You have a choice to purchase a ticket at a table or in our General Admission seating area.  Table seating will have a 2 drink minimum purchase per ticket holder.  There is no drink minimum for GA seating.  Table seating will have servers.

The doors will open at 7pm and the show will start at 8pm.
